Before you buy
Garden or garage?
Both. The insulated shell and sealed chiller are specified for a British winter outdoors. In a garage it simply runs less to hold temperature.
How cold does it go?
Set any temperature from 3 to 20°C. Most people settle at 4 to 8°C. It holds that temperature round the clock, summer included.
Does it need a drain or plumbing?
No. It fills from a hose and drains through its own outlet. A standard UK 13 A socket is the only connection.
How much does it cost to run?
About 0.9 kWh per day on average once cold, depending on ambient temperature and how often the lid is off. Roughly the cost of a fridge.
Is the water a hassle?
Ozone sanitising and 20-micron filtration keep it clear for months. Two minutes a week to check the filter and the water balance is the whole routine.
How loud is the chiller?
Quiet enough to live beside. See the product page for the measured figure.
Ordering
Why six weeks?
Every plunge is handcrafted to order and quality-checked before it leaves the workshop. Your build slot is confirmed within one working day of ordering.
Is installation really included?
Yes, across mainland UK, by our own two-person team. Positioning, chiller connection, first fill and a walkthrough.
Can I return it?
14 days on unused units. Faulty or damaged on arrival is collected and refunded at our cost. See Returns.
What if I have a question after delivery?
Message us on WhatsApp, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. A person answers.
Using it
How long should I stay in?
Two to three minutes at 4 to 8°C is plenty for most people. Build up gradually, never plunge alone at first, and speak to a doctor if you have a heart condition or are pregnant.
Does the science hold up?
The best-supported benefits are mood, stress resilience, alertness and sleep. Cold right after lifting can blunt muscle gains, so plunge on rest days or hours away from strength training. We will not tell you it cures anything.
Studios and gyms
Do you supply businesses?
Yes. The Pro is specified for back-to-back sessions. Message us for lead times and multi-unit pricing.
